In our books, summer isnt officially over until every terrace on the
island has closed and were forced to wear socks.
Before the deep-freeze sets in, book a table on the garden terrace of
Mexican restaurant El
Meson, complete with outdoor bar, sun-brellas and adorable
Spanish-speaking waiters.
Start with the Ensalada de Nopalitos marinated cactus ($8), followed by
a scrumptious Cazvela Mexicana seafood platter with fresh scallops,
mussels and giant grilled shrimp ($22).
Wash it down with a pitcher of margaritas and the canal starts looking a
lot like Baja.
