Although shes a world-renowned superstar, to us, Joni Mitchell is still
the epitome of cool Prairie girl. Born in Alberta and raised in
Saskatchewan, the singer, songwriter and painter recently added
choreographer to her repertoire.
Collaborating with The Alberta Ballets Artistic Director Jean
Grand-Maître, the two created The
Fiddle and The Drum, a production combining Mitchells music,
art and dance.
First performed in 2007, the production has returned to its Alberta
roots with an updated show that includes four new songs.
Fingers crossed Ms. Mitchell makes a return as wellwe love an encore.
