When Evian partnered with Christian Lacroix to launch its designer
bottle collection in 2007, it brought a whole new meaning to high-end
H20.
Tomorrow, artist Darcy Lundgren redefines recycling by bringing back the
decorative bottles in his large-scale sculptural piece titled Evian:
A collaborative sculptural piece. Inspired by the shape of a water
drop, Lundgren created the 10-foot sculpture using empty Christian
Lacroix Prêt-à-Porter 2008 Limited Edition bottles he
collected from Calgary restaurants. As part of the First
Thursdays at Art Central, the exhibit opens tomorrow at DaDe
Art and Design Lab.
And since fashion has to stay au courant, water will be served
from this years Jean Paul Gaultier Evian bottles.
Through March at DaDe Art and Design Lab, Upper level Art Central,
