Cottage Please

August 7, 2009

It has been impossible to escape the hype around Leslievilles latest
foodie destination.

Thankfully, the fare at The
Ceili Cottage
exceeds expectations. The comforting smell of burning
peat draws you inside to find a menu packed with traditional food like
Cottage Pie ($10), Irish oysters ($3.75 each), organic peat-smoked
salmon ($14) and more. With so much on offer, the order envy sets in
quickly. Convince your table to try a range of mains and starters and
then cut back on the ample desserts (theyre perfect for sharing).

Despite a no-reservations policy, The Ceili Cottage is doing the trade
of the town. Tuck into a pint of Kilkenny while you wait at the bar.
Sláinte!
