The
Hip Hop Summit, CBC Radios month-long celebration and
exploration of Canadian hip hop culture over the last 25 years, is well
under way.
Throughout the month, Radio One, Radio 2 and Radio 3 have all been
airing interviews, artist spotlights and performances of some of the big
names in Canadian hip hop including k-os, Kardinal Offishall, Skratch
Bastid and Michie Mee.
If you havent already tuned in, theres one week left until the grand
finale: a performance by some of the biggest names in Canadian hip hop
on March 29 (broadcast live on CBC Radio 3) and a day-long public
celebration in Toronto including panel discussions focusing on the
evolution of the genre on April 1.
Hip hop, you don’t stop.
