While there are traditional offerings on Chinois
new dim sum menu, the experience is anything but.
Its unconventional décor, with stark black walls and highly
saturated paintings featuring Chinese motifs by artist Vince Dumoulin,
provides an ambiance very different than the typical white tablecloths.
As for the food, there are the usual suspects like the delicious Lo Bak
Go ($5), a pan-fried turnip cake, to the very satisfying Deep Fried Crab
Claw ($5). But the real sell? Having dim sum while enjoying a tasty
cocktail. Anya Georgijevic
