Pastry, je t’aime

March 15, 2012

Dear French culinary angels, thanks for blessing us with La
Boulangerie
.

The bustling bakery café just opened in Mission and is headed by
chef Navot Raz, the Cordon Bleu trained chef that already had us lining
up at the Kingsland Farmers Market every weekend for croque monsieur. La
Boulangerie has made-to-order crepes, baguette and croissant sandwiches,
pots of piping hot soups and cases filled with flaky pastries and tarts.
Wash it all down with an Illy coffee and take a loaf of fresh bread
home. Sit on the patio for people watching and peek through the windows
at the back to see the bakers in action.

Cest magnifique. Jaelyn Molyneux
