Out With the Old, In With the Nuba

June 8, 2012

With their freshly opened fifth location in Kitsilano, the citys beloved Lebanese
eatery
is sure to become that neighbourhoods hot spot.

The new location offers their well-established menu, with hot and
cold mezze and heartier from-the-grill Le Meshwi dishes: try the revered
Najibs Special ($7) cauliflower dish from the former and the delicious
lamb kebab ($23) or, for your sharing pleasure, Le Grand Feast ($50 for
two) from the latter. Nubas extensive beer, wine, and cocktail list
allows one to make the restaurant outing a full evening deal. The
enclosed patio is picturesque, letting us pretend were somewhere far
away in the Mediterranean.

Nothing wrong with a little escape. Anya Georgijevic
