‘Love Her’ Fashion Gala for
Ovarian Cancer Canada is coming up in Calgary on March 7th. Quite the
glamourous event to attend at the beautiful Hotel Arts, the evening will
be featuring the gorgeous Canadian designed Spring 2013 collection from Judith
& Charles. I pulled some of my favourite looks from Judith &
Charles’ lookbook for some potential looks to wear to the gala.
The first look is a classic spin on mens black tie garb. Sleek and crisp
those striped tuxedo pants will make a sexy statement on the dance
floor. Not only that but you will be feeling very comfortable all night
long. Tie on some sparkly baubles as an accent.
The second look is the epitome of cocktail hour. The fresh and bright,
watercolour-esque print grounded with black is perfect for a night on
the town.
The last length is a beautiful take on the traditional formal gala gown.
Colour-blocked and paired with t-shirt sleeves, the classic gown is
dressed down a bit yet retains it the gorgeous silhouette of any other
fancy frock. Step it up a notch with some bold silver jewellery and
metallic peep-toes. If you want to add any colour to this outfit, wear
it on your nails. Treat yourself to a brightly hued manicure in a bright
mint or coral.
