Snow is long gone, and all the stylish skiers and snowboarders have
packed their bags, but Whistler’s summer adventures are just beginning.
I spent a weekend at the picturesque Nita
Lake Lodge, where I learned to paddle-board, indulged in an
afternoon at the spa, and ate copious amounts of chef Michael Guy’s west
coast fare, and even got a few tips on cultivating herbs in our
temperamental Canadian climate.
But, most importantly, I went glacier hiking! Before this trip, I didn’t
even know that excitedyou know, city girl.
