Any Vancouverite who thinks we’re a no-fun city should have been at
Robson Square on Friday night. The outdoor space was transformed for
FUSE, a tri-annual multi-room party hosted by the Art Gallery, with
performers, installations, projects, DJs, music, food and more.
Inside, the current exhibit The Grand Hotel: Redesigning Modern Life,
provided the perfect setting, combining art, artifacts and design
elements from famous hotels around the globe.
The event was enormously popular, beginning at 8 p.m. and ending in the
wee hours in the morning. Vancouver Art Gallery members get in for free,
but at the cost of $20, it’s the one party to be at.
