If you have international taste on a home cookin’ budget, we’ve found the perfect compromise.
At It’s All Grk, we quickly learned the resto’s language so we could get some of those Greek fries (fries topped with satisfyingly salty feta), beefteki (soft seasoned beef patties), and piato (think of it as an open-face pita sandwich of sorts) into our ravenous bellies. Don’t mistake this for any ol’ run of the mill Greek joint—the meat (chicken, beef and pork) is all local and the delectable tzatziki is made in-house. Rounding out the authenticity? Olives, olive oil and a selection of Greek spring water, all imported from the old country
After chowing down on all of this tastiness, we’re not exactly bikini-body ready for the islands. Santorini can wait. —Karen Kwan
