A stellar time is in the stars for this year’s Interstellar Rodeo music festival in Hawrelak Park, July 25th to 27th.
The outdoor amphitheater is hosting some mega buzzed-about acts—like Hydra, Feist’s new, live-only (no album out yet) mystery indie group starring her soaring vocals. Also set to take the stage: Gord Downie, The Sadies and The Conquering Sun (yes that’s one band name), a jammy rock super group led by the Tragically Hip front man. Sprinkle in some Andrew Bird and, for provincial pride, Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans, and you’ve got yourself a nice little music festival.
