It’s not hard to find a local craft beer in Vancouver, but the products that hail from micro vineyards and small-lot wineries require a bit of digging—unless you happen to be in the Okanagan this fall.
The Small Guys Wine Festival, taking place on September 14th, 2014, in Okanagan Falls, features a group of local artisanal winemakers showing off their best pinots, viogniers, merlots and more. Bella‘s sparkling wines will be there, as will Sage Hills and Squeezed Wines.
If you can’t make the festival, just use the names of the participating vintners as a shopping list the next time you visit the liquor store. We’ll drink to that! —Alexandra Suhner Isenberg
