Best of the Pemby Fest

July 22, 2014

It was Canada’s largest music, comedy and camping (#intense) event at Pemberton Music Festival this past weekend. Set in the most picturesque Pemberton Valley, B.C., there was a giant waterslide, zip lining, tons of food trucks and some of the best live music we’ve ever seen and heard.

Pemberton is beautiful. As B.C. natives, it’s easy to take mountains for granted. But this weekend we were newly blown away by the Mt. Currie backdrop behind the Main Stage. The setting was perfect … for Bob Saget to introduce Snoop Dogg, who no longer seems to identify as Snoop Lion but did finish his set with Bob Marley’s Jamming!.

Sporting our limited-edition pink neon Daub + Design capris, we frolicked through the vast (read: HUGE) festival grounds and caught some amazing acts: Soundgarden, Kendrick Lamar, TV on the Radio, Empire of the Sun, Nine Inch Nails, Girl Talk and OUTKAST. We may have even fallen asleep to Frank Ocean’s soothing lullabies.
