Sure, there’s hikes and bikes. But when it comes to special events, Whistler provides a bevy of fun opportunities, too. Read on for some August highlights.
Araxi Longtable: Acclaimed restaurant Araxi whips up pure magic in its outdoor dining experiences. Flock to Lost Lake in Whistler Valley for an elegant reception followed by a four-course farm-to-table menu designed by Chef James Walt. Family style with flair, August 30th.
Del Barber Band: "Thank goodness for Country Gals," sings this Manitoba-raised musician on his latest album, Prairieography. If you love free music and country tunes, you’ll be thankful, too. Whistler’s open-air concert series will feature the country boy August 29th.
Farmers’ Market: Continuing throughout summer, the Whistler Farmers’ Market is a must-hit of roasted almonds, sweet lemonade and monster zucchinis fresh from Pemberton farms. Pick up produce and peruse handmade artisan crafts in the late summer sun.
