This summer, we’re ducking ’round back to Calgary’s newest alleyway patio, Container Bar.
The brainchild of Winebar and Brasserie Kensington’s Cam Dobranski and Matt Leslie, Container Bar’s main component is a fully stocked bar housed in a recycled shipping container. Continuing with the theme, the bar’s furniture includes reused chairs, church pews and tables made from pallets. Container Bar serves a smaller version of Brasserie’s menu including a weekend brunch. Oh, and did we mention they have candy?
