Giant redwoods, elephant seals and ghostly nighttime tours of Alcatraz aside, an irresistible wine collection from Northern Cali has us loving the region even more.
Chloe Wine Collection sources grapes from vineyards around the world to create ultra-premium wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Red No. 249. The latter recently arrived at our office, demanding our immediate attention with its heavy, elegant, bow-tied bottle, full, luxurious mouth feel and alluring, lingering finish. The name, says winemaker Georgetta Dane, comes from the 249 wine lots she tasted to achieve a sophisticated intensity of flavour in this wine.
