You could say it was l’amour at first sight.
Fresh bread from the boulangerie, an impressive raw bar and cheese menu and a solid steak frites—all within a drop-dead chic space. Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie captured our affection as soon as stepped onto its gorgeous tiled floor. As we worked our way through much of the menu—delectable small plates of roasted duck poutine and beef tartare, plus a handsome veal meatball “tomahawk” adorned with pillowy Parisian gnocchi—our fondness grew stronger still. Now, we’re looking forward to fall and winter menu additions like sturgeon, duck breast and octopus, as well as an expanded seafood bar (hello, whole lobster and crab!).
