Things you like: supporting local arts (there are so many bright, interesting people doing exciting things in Western Canada, it’s nice to be able to offer them your backing) and watching great TV. Sound about right? Cool, because over the last few months hundreds of local filmmakers have submitted webisode pitches to Storyhive, and now you get to vote for which will get funded with $10,000.
There’s a huge variety of genres, tons of comedians, activists and future Spielbergs in the mix, and you have the power to decide whose big break this competition is going to be. So, support local filmmakers by having a look at their (endlessly entertaining) proposals and picking your favourites. Hey, it’s no easy feat building a web series, as you’ll learn from Nicole in STORYHIVE’s own “How to make a web series: The Web Series.”
