Bring Home the Happy

January 15, 2015

collected joyYou know those hidden retail treasures you’re tempted to keep to yourself?

That’s the conundrum we’re faced with when it comes to Collected Joy, newly opened in the Upper Beaches. Still, we’ll dish: this charming shop is stocked with lust-worthy pretty decorative things, most of it Canadian, with some uber-local inventory—like vintage framed artwork made by a teacher who lives around the corner. Think sweet stationery, delicate jewelry, small-batch edibles and, coming soon, wine tastings, supper clubs and craftsy classes.

Consider us ardent collectors of joy. —Karen Kwan
