Central Social Hall has found a second home.
The well-loved premium gastropub, which first opened in downtown Edmonton in 2012, recently added a sister outpost in St. Albert, just north of town. A mix of resto and nightclub, the new Central tantalized our tastebuds and quenched our thirst under one roof. A redesigned menu by Vancouver chef Reuben Major features offerings made from scratch in house, using local ingredients, like the savoury Albacore Tuna Tataki with pickled ginger and wasabi aioli. Or try the house favourite: Bacon + Deviled Eggs that’s far beyond another other deviled egg you’ll find in the city. Wash your meal down with local beers on rotation, including Hog’s Head, brewed across town in Riel Park.
Time to get a little more social in St. Albert. —Brittany Kustra
