Beets have been getting a lot of attention lately for their many health benefits. Hailed as a superfood, these crimson veggies are known to boost energy levels and are a huge source of antioxidants.
Naomi Le Bihan, co-owner of Calgary’s Cru Juice, says beets are recognized as a liver tonic that support detoxification and stimulate increased function of the liver cells. 2 medium beets, scrubbed and trimmed
2 large carrots
1 inch fresh ginger root
1 Granny Smith apple
