Have you ever wanted to attend a ball with women in tiaras, men in tails and debutantes?
You’re in luck. The Strauss Ball, one of Edmonton’s most glamorous events, is celebrating its 40th anniversary on February 28 at the Chateau Lacombe. Included: a champagne reception, multicourse dinner, live dance performances and traditional ballroom dancing. Best of all, the ball benefits the Johann Strauss Foundation, which grants scholarships to music students who want to further their classical training at institutions in Austria.
