Canmore Uncorked

March 27, 2015

canmore uncorkedNow in its second year, the Canmore Uncorked food and wine extravaganza is on April 7th to 19th. Here are some of the top reasons you should go:

culinary symphony: This innovative show brings food and music together for a sensory tasting. On April 13th, the Juno-nominated Quartetto Gelato will pair with equally talented Canmore chefs to put on this exciting event.

progressive dinners: Why stick to just one restaurant when you can dine at five? This meal program means you get to sample a set course (paired with a drink, natch) at every eatery along the way.

canmore uncorkedwhisky festival: This new event, on April 10th, is a fundraiser for Canmore’s annual Highland Games; expect authentic Scottish festivities including lively dancing, music and an all-around good time. Oh, and whisky, lots of whisky.

pre-fixe dining: With so many great eats in town, here’s your chance to try some of the pricier ones. This year there are 26 restaurants participating with fixed menus of $19, $29 and $39, including Chez Francois, Crazyweed and The Iron Goat.
