We’re big on brunch, but if we have to eat one more boring benedict we’re going to scream.
Good thing we had the sense to wander into Junior for the weekly Rice + Shine brunch, where we feasted on Filipino-style breakfast faves to the beat of a live DJ. Tempted by the fried chicken and coconut waffles, in the end we went for Tapsilog—flavourful cured beef, fluffy rice and a perfectly runny-yolked fried egg—followed by sugar-dusted plaintain fritters.
