124 Street’s newest culinary addition is a lunchtime must! The brainchild of Kara and Nevine Fenske of Drift food-truck fame is a brick-and-mortar sandwich heaven, boasting daily rotating roasts from which juicy hot sandwiches, accompanied by various soups and salads, are made. Delicious are the cauliflower salad and roasted pork shoulder sandwich, while the vegetable samosas and tarts that line the cooler alongside house-made dips, tapenade and patès tempted us to try more. As if all this doesn’t sound good enough, Dovetail is licensed, meaning you can dine in with a glass of vino or a chilled cider.
