Flea Season

May 27, 2015

macrameWe love our local labels, so we make it a point to attend the seasonal Puces Pop artisan fair (May 29th to 31st at l’Église Saint-Denis), featuring a full roster of Montreal’s most creative artists and craftspeople.

This year’s market brings together over 100 artisans, including 40 new vendors selling everything from jams to jewels. On our home décor wish lists: delicately painted pottery by Cone 6 Collective, contemporary macramé by Boho Montreal (pictured), gorgeous cheese and cutting boards by Avenue Coloniale and Art Deco canoe paddles by Ropes and Wood. Such good shopping tends to make us hungry; luckily Nouveau Palais will be serving up delicious eats alongside Dispatch Coffee.

We’re just mad for Made in Montreal. —Jennifer Nachshen
