How to Look Good at Summer Music Festivals

June 10, 2015

pemberton music festivalMusic festival season is quickly approaching, and first on our radar is the Pemberton Music Festival: four days of music, mountains and, of course, outfits that strike the perfect festival chord.

For inspiration, we’re casting an eye to last year’s event, when Asli Omar (pictured, right), lead singer of Houston’s The Tontons, stole the show, style-wise, with her on-trend ensemble of faded black jeans, chili-pepper crop top, cherry lips and a light, brightly patterned jacket. This year, we’re looking forward to the Black Keys, Weezer, Missy Elliot, Hozier, M.I.A., Chromeo, the Decemberists and other artists to spark similar fashion envy from the stage.

Pemberton Pinterest, of course, provides an infinity scroll of idea-gestating style swatches (lace, turquoise and face jewels, oh my), and it’s also a good time to revisit our 2015 festival style guide slideshow (scroll through, below), full of stylish, comfortable and cool ideas for festival wear that works for a variety of ages.
