We may not eat cereal made with mini marshmallows anymore, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want our breakfast mix to be magically delicious.
With Canadian-made Mixit.ca we can create our own custom cereal from the flakes up. Start by choosing a base, throw in some dried fruit, add nuts and seeds and top it off with some daring extras (think chocolate-covered coffee beans or matcha almonds) for a morning mix that’s all your own. We went for a sugar- and gluten-free tapioca granola topped with freeze-dried raspberries, coconut flakes, almond slices, hulled hemp seeds and crushed cocoa beans for a high-fibre-meets-high-flavour treat that arrived by post a few days later in an absolutely adorable tube.
It’s worth waking up for. —Jennifer Nachshen
