Toronto’s Steph Hoff is bringing old-school quilts back into serious style.
Boasting years of experience in the world of fashion and retail, Hoff’s latest collab is with a 45-year-old Mennonite sewing circle based out of Ontario’s Waterloo County. Under the Credo moniker, her autumn/winter collection features pieces made of locally sourced fabrics boasting both modern and traditional Mennonite designs. With each quilt taking roughly 80 hours to produce (that’s without the aid of any machinery, natch), the unique beauty of this bedding is a no-brainer. (Look for contemporary pattern cues, too, influenced by recent runway offerings of designers like Chloé, Burberry, Lavin, Dior and Valentino.)
