TGI Fryday

April 7, 2016

You won’t find any frozen fries at Fryday, Calgary’s newest poutinerie. Every fry is made using hand-cut Russet potatoes, the gravy is a secret recipe (whatever the secret is, it’s working) and Fryday sources local ingredients where possible like cheese curds from Springbank Co. The original poutine is a must-try but you’ll also want to try the Garlic Parm made with a jalapeno cheese sauce and Parmesan or the Kimchi made with caramelized kimchi, pork belly, Sriracha aioli and seaweed flakes. If you’re really hungry, there are also delicious fried chicken and burgers on the menu.

Calgary’s poutine game just got a lot stronger. — Sara Samson
