This weekend, why not get out and explore South Granville’s vibrant gallery scene with its 5th Annual ArtWalk on Saturday, June 18th? Discover the 13 featured exhibitions and join the various artists’ talks hosted by the galleries along the strip. Keep your eyes peeled for amazing raffle draw prize giveaways (hint: check out Bau-Xi Gallery.) Peruse the stores, and pop into the cafés and restaurants to test out some tasty refreshments and snacks. It’s going to be a day full of culture, musical performances, wine, cheese, shopping, giveaways, free samples (and did we mention wine and cheese)?
ArtWalk is on from 10am to 6pm and will span from 6th Ave to 16th Ave along South Granville Street. Admission to the galleries is free. — Laura Busby
