CedarCreek is a winery that celebrates its surroundings. One of the Okanagan’s oldest and most lauded estates, they are known for wines that express the unique flavours of their steeply sloped, sun-drenched soil. In fact, a trained palette can actually tell which part of the property the vines are grown on, depending on the bottle.
While the terroir is celebrated with the wine, CedarCreek also has the keen sense to celebrate their gorgeous location with an intimate summer concert series, located in their stunning, rose-lined, vista-sweeping Vineyard Pavilion.
Just 20 minutes drive from downtown Kelowna, the first TELUS Sunset Concert features multi-platinum Canadian singer songwriter Kim Mitchell (July 13 & 14). The second features Canadian duo (and husband and wife goals) Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida performing as Moon vs Sun (Aug. 11). The latter is sold out, but tickets are still available for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to catch Kim Mitchell belting out “Patio Lanterns” as the sun sets, and actual patio lanterns slowly light up the warm Okanagan night sky. —Vitamin Daily
