We couldn’t have asked for better summer weather to virtually escape to France courtesy of Grey Goose Canada at Boulangerie Bleue.
The Toronto two-day pop-up (the first of four Canadian stops of the vodka brand’s worldwide pop-up series) took place at the Island Yacht Club, which was crisply decked out in blue and white, complete with clouds (foamy poufs) floating dreamily away up into the sky.
With fresh baguettes (crispy crust and soft doughy centres—heaven!) and cuisine inspired by Grey Goose vodka courtesy of renowned chef Jamie Kennedy, the stylish crowd of local media and influencers had plenty to fête while sipping Grand Fizz cocktails. Cheese and charcuterie, a late-night crèpe station, private martini tastings in an adorable camionette, and playtime with remote-controlled boats in the pool rounded out the festivities on the island, where partygoers happily celebrated (and Instagrammed) the good life till close to midnight.
In Calgary and Vancouver? Boulangerie Bleue will be popping up in your city soon (August 4 to 5 and 9 to 10 respectively); don’t miss out on a chic night out. After all, how often does the French Riviera come to you? —Karen Kwan
