Caffeine fix

“But first, coffee,” is our mantra more often than not.

So we are grateful for the little nook that is now The Ind_pendent in the the Fashion District. Serving up good strong lattes just as we like (if you’re craving something chilled, right now there’s only Station Cold Brew) and a smattering of vegan Glory Hole doughnuts and pastries (including delectable mini croissant sandwiches for when we’re feeling just a bit peckish), it’s where we are finding ourselves popping into for a quick pick-me-up during the work day, or mid-power shopping.

The hip hop music (which is what’s usually playing when we’ve popped in) and cute décor (classic tile floor and rustic wood finishes) are a bonus. —Karen Kwan
