Edmonton’s new Arena District saw it’s first venue open doors this week. Joey’s is pioneering the developing area in the downtown core with a slick industrial restaurant and bar.
The large venue is decked out with amazing light fixtures and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The terrace boasts full size bi-fold glass doors to make the most of these summer days and nights without sacrificing the space in the winter. The menu is full of all your Joey’s favourites but introduces some newbies to the mix. We’re still drooling over the Spanish Paella with juicy shrimp and chorizo. But that special place in our hearts is reserved for the homespun ice-cream. It’s whipped up in house everyday and flash frozen with liquid nitrogen for optimal creaminess. Flavours rotate so there’s always a new one to try.
