New Eats: Foo Calgary

Victoria’s popular Foo restaurant has brought its delicious Asian street food to Calgary with its first location outside British Columbia. Foo, which has set up shop in Mission’s historic Tivoli Theatre, serves up fresh (everything is made-to-order) and unfussy Asian street food, think pad Thai, curry and pork dumplings. If you’re looking to warm up on a chilly day go for the beef noodle soup made with braised brisket, rice noodles and red chili. Or, for something a little different, try for the saag paneer made with paneer cheese, spinach, masala cream sauce and almond and sultana dumplings.  —Sara Samson
