Add a little retro-glam to your life with this new chef-driven bar and restaurant in the Beltline.
Bridgette Bar‘s chic space, housed in a former warehouse, exudes a cool ’60s vibe—think original brick and timber throughout, hanging plants and a throwback colour palette. Hang out in the standing bar area up front or get cosy in the lounge near the wood-burning fireplace. If you’re looking for something to snack on, go for the smoked tuna crudo or eggplant fries with espelette mayo. Bigger appetites will want to try one of the main dishes, such as the maple BBQ Alberta rainbow trout served with smoked potatoes and creamed kale.
Oh, did we mention the perfectly boozy cocktails? —Sara Samson
