If there’s one thing the movie Mean Girls has taught us—besides the fact that, on Wednesdays, we wear pink—it’s that bullies don’t get very far in life.
Today, February 22, is Pink Shirt Day—a chance for us all to stand up for and put an end to bullying. As such, Redfish Kids is inviting all Vancouverites to post messages of love and solidarity on the windows of its two stores, at 851 Hornby Street and in Dundarave Village. Most importantly (and not just because it does happen to be a Wednesday), it’s time to get your pink on by purchasing a limited-edition hot pink #Courage T-shirt and matching ball cap from Redfish and help spread the message of empowering kids to make strong and bold choices, giving them the courage to make decisions and stand by what they believe in. In turn, Redfish will donate all proceeds to Pink Shirt Day charities, including CKMW Orphan’s Fund and anti-bullying campaigns.
