Bow Street and Back Again
By VITA Daily
This cocktail by Katie Ingram, head bartender at L’Abattoir in Vancouver, includes Jameson Crested, Noilly Prat Rouge, Amaro Lucano and Bittered Sling Arabica Coffee Bitters and is inspired by a combination of the classic Boulevardier as well as the no-fail St. Patty’s Day favourite, Irish Coffee. Bow Street is the location of the original Jameson distillery, established in 1780, where it operated before being relocated to Midleton in Cork Country in the early ’70s (Katie has been lucky enough to visit it herself).

Another Man’s Gold
By VITA Daily
Like most of the cocktails on his bar menu, Dave Warren, bar manager at The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar in Squamish, B.C., named Another Man’s Gold after a popular mountain climbing route in the area. Made just for St. Patrick’s Day, this cocktail combines Jameson Irish Whiskey with lemon juice, egg white and Dave’s own house-made golden beet shrub. It’s garnished with pickled golden beets.

Pecan Porter
By VITA Daily
Marc Slingsby-Jones, bar manager at Van City’s Café Medina created the Pecan Porter as an ode to Jameson Irish Whiskey. To make his cocktail, Marc infuses his whiskey for five days with roasted pecans before combining it with butterscotch liqueur and crème de cacao, and topping it all off with Four Winds Oat Porter (or Guinness, if you prefer) for a drink that’s worthy of St. Patrick.
