Level Up is a computer science camp that teaches kids seven to 15 high-level tech skills like Java code, robotics and app development. There are 12 programs to choose from across Canada, each one a step above plain ol’ algorithms. Kids can custom-build robots, make Scratch animation and video games or host their own Minecraft YouTube channel. They’ll also enjoy code names, epic build tournaments, lip sync battles and ultimate Frisbee. By the end of the week they will have sharpened up their problem solving, strategic thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.
