Here at VITA HQ, summertime means patio time and that, inevitably, means a delicious cocktail in hand while we gab and people-watch our after-work hours away.
Our preferred patio bevvy is, naturally, the mojito: tall, cool, misty and incomparably refreshing, nothing says summer like this classic Cuban highball. There’s even a "holiday" to honour the timeless rum cocktail—today is National Mojito Day, and what better way to celebrate than by mixing your own game-changing Cardamom Mojito at home? All you need is cardamom syrup (super easy to make), mint leaves, lime and, of course, the best mojito-making rum of all, Bacardí—smoothly satisfying since 1862.
You know where we’ll be (and what we’ll be drinking) tonight! —Noa Nichol
