Thankfully, gorgeous model Jordyn Woods is back with her second collection for ADDITION ELLE. With a focus on casual and athletic items, the versatile line is heavily inspired by the ’90s and provides trendy options for curvy women. Jordyn shares more about this amazing collaboration below. —Rachel Johnston
Tell us about your new collection. What makes it unique?
It’s my second collection with ADDITION ELLE. It is more athleisure under the brand’s active wear line, NOLA. I love it because it’s so versatile and streetwear is so on trend right now. You can really wear the pieces from day to night. It’s a collection that you can go out in or just hang out at home.
Do you have a favourite piece?
One of my favourites is the varsity jacket. I love styling it over a simple cami or tee with jeans and heels. It’s fun to wear and the patchwork represents my personality.
Who is your role model when it comes to fashion and why?
I really don’t have a role model, but I think anyone that’s pushing the boundaries and not taking no for an answer would be someone to look up to.
Why is it important for “plus-size” women to be represented in the fashion world?
I think it’s important for “plus-size” women to be represented because what’s considered plus size in the industry starts at a size 8 and the average woman is a size 8. Therefore, plus-size fashion is reaching out to the average woman and giving them something that they can relate and connect to.
