January 18, 2018

Home is where the heart is but, every time we’ve considered a move to a new house, making sure there are amenities close by that can help get our hearts pumping and our bodies moving has been a top priority.

At Gabriola Park—Langley’s latest and, dare we say, most-desirable residential development, consisting of three- and four-bedroom cottage-style townhouses in a gorgeous park-like setting—fitness opportunities within easy reach (in addition to thoughtful interior design touches and retail/dining options aplenty) are a non-issue. Below, seven of our favourite recreation and exercise spots easily accessed from your new home at Gabriola Park! —Noa Nichol

Yorkson Community Park: Baseball diamonds galore, well-maintained playing fields and even a treed nature area with a pond and meandering creek make Yorkson one of Langley’s most frequented green spaces. There are also two separate off-leash areas—one for small and one for large dogs, with a wash station, to boot—so your four-legged friend get can his or her daily dose of exercise in, too!
