Hi Maddox! To start, please tell us a bit about yourself and your role with Benefit.

As the national brow and trend artist at Benefit Cosmetics I bring brow awareness and excitement to all media platforms, teach people how to achieve their brow goals in fun and easy ways and demonstrate the transformative power of brows across Canada. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for more than 20 years, and with Benefit for more than seven years.

Can you give us basic steps and product recommendations to achieve some great looks?

Applying 3D BROWtones is so simple! For an everyday look, just brush it onto your brows from the front, all the way through to the tail. You can reference the colour wheel to find the shade that will best complement your eye colour to make your everyday look pop.

For a fun festival look, "back-brush" the product starting from the tail of your brows and work your way up to the front, then brush it through again from the front to the back to coat the hairs for more intense colour payoff. You can pair your brow shade to your lip colour, hair colour or outfit for a next-level festival vibe.

For an editorial look, brush on 3D BROWtones in an upward style, making your brows appear more bushy and feathery.

What’s your personal favourite limited-edition 3D BROWtones shade and why?

I absolutely love the magenta shade. I love the pop of pinky-purple that shows up when the light hits the face at the right angle.
