Hi Bonnie! In terms of shoes, specifically, what’s trending this spring?
The new trends have been varied the past few seasons, which is great news for shoe lovers—we even witnessed Crocs on the runway this season! Everything is in, from a strappy stiletto to a chuck heel, soft pastel suedes to exaggerated embroideries—like gorgeous fluttering butterflies on DKNY’s Roy printed sandal—to denim and western-inspired leather. The styles are as varied as the embellishments!
Sounds like our spring footwear options are limitless! What are some of your personal favourites?
My absolute favourite trend this season is the mule, like the Eddie Sabot in Italian leather from BOSS. These are everywhere and make a great transition shoe to slide into the next season as the temperature starts to rise!
Have any other designer shoes caught your eye this season?
Yes! The Nunakends kitten heel from Stuart Weitzman! Love, love, love.
And what about us ladies who simply hate to lose the height?
Don’t worry, high heels seem to always be a perfect wardrobe staple and a picture of timeless femininity. This season you’ll even see gals wearing ankle socks with them! Although not for the faint of heart, they can be adorable. My advice: stop wondering, start wearing!
