Here, Sabina dishes on her favourite new skin-care find: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Face Wash Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin:
I’m 38 and have had problem skin since my teens. I tried different products and even started getting expensive facials once a month in order to keep my breakouts under control. I also never felt comfortable leaving the house without makeup on (the one exception was the gym).
After returning home from a trip overseas my mom gave me some samples she had received of La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Face Wash Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin. I tried it, and my skin was clear after three days! The results were amazing. My skin looked like I had just had a facial, it was glowing! After results like that I ran to Shoppers Drug Mart to get more and was shocked when I saw how inexpensive this product is—just $25 for a 400 ml bottle, which lasts at least three months (I use it twice a day). I leave the house without makeup more often now and, when I do wear makeup, it sits smoothly on my skin.
