Our recent Contiki tour took us to some of Europe’s finest destinations and premiere fashion capitals—starting with Paris, where the shopping was superb and we were able to scratch our retail itch via some of the best and biggest brands. Next up, Italy, were we whirled through three amazing cities—Venice, Florence and Rome—each unique and stylish in its own right. Austria, Lichtenstein, Germany and Holland were also included on the tour. Austria was truly beautiful and very peaceful; Germany was organized and clean. Amsterdam was a highlight of the trip, with friendly locals and hundreds of shops stocked with goodies to take home.
Our final stop was in London. While the weather was miserable (a given, since England is said, in general, to experience winter nine months of the year), the city itself was pure magic, with non-stop (read: 24-7) fun. It truly was a trip of a lifetime, with the best takeaway being the memories we collected along the way.
