A few weeks ago I dished about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Gel Cleanser and the wonders it worked for me. But a good cleanser is only part of my daily skin routine.
For me, one of life’s simplest pleasures is getting all the gunk off my face after a long day at work capped off with a sweaty workout. At night, after washing my face with my fave cleanser, I use Eminence Organics Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant to really scrub my skin clean. While I find some other exfoliants too harsh to use on a daily basis, this one is the exact opposite. It comes as a fine power, and I put about a quarter-size amount in the palm of my hand and mix in some warm water. When I start rubbing it into my skin, I feel this grainy substance scrubbing away the remnants of the day. And FYI: you can also mix it with your cleanser if you prefer a shortcut to clean skin.
After a few weeks of daily use my skin was brighter and smoother. It look me a while to find a skin-cleansing routine that worked for me, but now that I have I am thrilled! —Sabina Srubiski
